It was a perfect tour... thanks for giving beautiful memories to us... its was a very well designed tour to explore the SFO boh the the optional tours were worth it. The only thing is that we should have been given more time in Yosemite
This was of a hi-lite of my trip to LA.... The tour guide, Tom and our Captain driver Peter were both good and pleasant. Very comfortable drive and plenty of stops for breaks and food. The cruise around the San Francisco Golden gate and Alc..atraz island was worth the 90 minute spent. A few suggestions are, 1. no breakfast at the hotels before you leave so make sure you purchase something the previous day. Maybe the tour company should negotiate with the hotels to purchase breakfast at the visitors discretion if they want. 2. If you have a disability issue , please inform the tour guide before going on the cable car as it stops on LOMBARD St and then you have to walk down 4 blocks to the bus at a 47 degree angle steep road down to the bus. You might ask to stay on the bus... 3. Some of the tours are optional, example the Roaring Camp railway tour, but it doesn't say on their webpage that if they don't get 15 or more people from the group they SKIP IT...SO WE MISSED OUT...!!!!!! We were very upset. 4. The Monterey aquarium stop was a waste of time as NO ONE visited the Aquarium and we wasted another half hour there.5. Be prepared for a mixture of English and Chinese communication by the Tour guide which is obvious, but I found that if in Chinese it took 6-7 minutes to explain, it took 1 minute in English.... maybe I'm missing something or it was not detailed too much in English...just the basics.. Enjoy.Read full review
This tour has a lot to offer. It was so much fun! Our tour guide made this trip so easy for us and informative about each places. The view of San Francisco from the cruise was so amazing! Overall a great trip!
Absolutely breathtaking experience! The itinerary was well-planned with a good balance of sightseeing and free time. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Each stop, from the Grand Canyon to Yosemite, left me in awe. Highly recommende..d for anyone wanting to explore the US West Coast!Read full review
100% The tour is nothing more than a transportation.

The bus was very old, looked dirty. No wifi, no backseat basket, no cup holder, and no garbage bag hanging in the front of the bus. The tour guide we had either tired or didn't know much, hardly gave any background info for the sites we pas..sed through, (except for golden gate bridge), most talk was to inform us when to come back, where was the bathroom and to sale the optional activities and their associated restaurants. Most of us had no interaction with the guide and the driver, the driver didn't talk at all, not even a smile, and rushed us to get off the bus so he could park. The first Hotel we stayed, we needed to carry luggage all the way to the back and to the second floor, no elevator, the building looked like a motel. The room itself was alright tho. Both nights hotel was far out of the city. The tour managed to squeeze in many sites, but we didn't see much of the place at all, Some sites only 10- 15 minutes stop which including bathroom time. The bus took the shortest route, was not driving along the coast/Hwy 1 at all. We had a stop at the very beginning of the 17 miles drive, then turned to Monterey aquarium. We didn't even see the big famous cypress tree and Snow White sand beach, my biggest disappointment. I can't say I visited 17 miles. For the optional activities, I'd rather take a stroll In town than taking the cruise or visit the aquarium, or you won't have time left. The mandatory fee, you pay for visiting the university (I never paid a cent to enter university in North America), and you pay extra for the bus to take you around the city, shouldn't this be included in the tour's base fare already? I do not recommend this tour.Read full review
My husband and I took a trip in 2011 that we enjoyed very much, so I booked it again for a group of seniors I have at church. The Itinerary was similar to the first time, but wow was it different. We were rushed through the entire trip; 20 ..minutes, 30 minutes, etc. The most we stayed at one stop was the aquariam which was 1 1/2 hours and that's only because the same family was late to get on the bus at each stop. Given that the aquariam is $50 per person, one hour is not worth it the expense. I had to tell the bus driver that there was a demonstration going on in San Francisco, otherwise, half of the bus would not have made it to the meeting point at City Hall and I had to round everybody up to inform them we were cutting Fisherman's Warf early. We had to wait at a church that was closed for over 2 1/2 hours because of this mess. The bus driver, Lee was very rude, did not answer any questions other than to direct us to the tour guide, Mike who's English was limited. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but when he couldn't find one of the reservations I made, he said they had to get off the bus. He didn't even ask for the E-Ticket, which of course proved our reservation. He didn't even apologize, he just said okay. The entire trip was rushed and very disappointing. One night in dangerous Oakland! People screaming in middle of the night and cars rimming their engines. Nothing like the original trip my husband and I took years ago. I couldn't wait for it to end.Read full review
