It was the worst tours4funtrip I ever experienced, it was terrible. You have hired a very an inexperienced, uncaring tour guide, his name is Nick. Also, a very careless, reckless driver from Colorado and who has not driven to San Francisco... Both don't have extensive information of what they were supposed to do. Check this, the driver sideswiped a parked car by the SF City Hall. Ask Nick, the tour guide, who was worried as everyone else. You must remember that the satisfaction and safety of your customers must be given top priority. I believe there's always a first time, but having the two together-that's unacceptable. One more thing, the bus is so very dirty. None of the two even offered any assistance needed during the travel.Read full review
Overall the tour was ok. I booked 3 rooms for my family and they gave 2 rooms on same floor and 3rd one in a different building of hotel. I asked to change my room all together but they didn't do it. They said there is no rooms available du..e to long weekend. Also the Roaring Camp train ticket they charged $29 per person and the rail tour was for about an hour but the train came back in half an hour. At roaring camp the tour guide asked to user restrooms first and then go to train but there is a long queue at restrooms. So after few minutes tour guide asked everybody to get into train and people are waiting at rest rooms queue. So many people couldn't ride the train. I am traveling by Trours4fun almost every year but this tour was horrible and had bad experience .....Read full review

The tour was really fun but jam packed. The tour guide, Kevin was really nice and considerate and other passengers are friendly as well. We stayed in Marriot hotel which was really nice. Pros: Lot of places to go, pee stop every 2 hours, fr..iendly tour guide Cons: Early call time, less time in the stops, less time for resting in the hotel the tour are chinese first then translated to englishRead full review
I had the coolest 9 days!! This is probably one of my most favorite trips of my life and I am so grateful to our tour guide for bringing a slammed itinerary of all the highlights to life.
Took the tour on 6/24-6/26/2015 with a group of 11 people, and we all felt that the entire tour was rushed. The time we spent on most of the stops were mostly just enough for a restroom break. First stop - Santa Barbara was really just a re..stroom stop.No time to even walk down to the pier which was across the street from the restroom building. Next was Solvang, we were only given a little over an hour to have lunch. Had lunch at Vikings (highly suggested by our tour guide), which was right where the bus parked. We thought we would have a few minutes to at least walk up and down the street and take some pictures. But, NO, it was just enough for a quick lunch and restroom break. On the way to San Jose, our tour guide changed our itinerary for the day. Instead of going straight to Silicon Valley, we headed straight to the hotel and included Silicon Valley to the next day's tour to save us 3 hours of travel. The hotel on the first night (Comfort Inn Salinas) was pretty good although I requested to have connecting/adjacent rooms for our group and of course, they weren't. We were split up, some on the 2nd floor while others on the 3rd. The 2nd day, we went straight to Silicon Valley - Apple Inc. We didn't get a chance to walk around and take pictures for security reasons, as we were told. So, pretty much just a drive around the Infinity Loop. Next stop was Stanford, where we were able to at least take some pictures and use the restrooms. Although we were only given less than an hour to spend there. Then, next stop was San Francisco. We were only given 20 minutes at the Golden Gate Bridge, where 10 minutes of it was already standing in line for the restroom. This stop was supposed to be the highlight for our group as some people in our group have never been or seen the Golden Gate bridge! The best thing this day was the 5 1/2 hours spent on our own since we didn't join the bay cruise and city tour. The worst part of this tour is the hotel on our 2nd night - Quality Inn Monterey Beach Dunes. This hotel is the worst! No elevators-we had 3 seniors with us who had to climb 3 flights of steps since our rooms were on the 3rd floor. The rooms were smelly and old. Our room had used towels hanging on the bathroom door and the telephone and clock weren't even working. Our last day was not too bad except we got to our drop off site a few minutes before 9pm, which was so much later than what was said on the itinerary. Overall, I would go with a different tour company. My friends went on a similar itinerary but with a different tour company and they only had good things to say about their tour.Read full review
I have always dreamed to step on the ground of Yosemite. Just as I have thought, the view is amazing. Not only that the tour guide have great plan. I understand where people want to stay longer so he plan the tour based on his clients' pref..erence.Read full review
My family came from Korea and we wanted a trip in CA. I purchased 4 disney tickets and this package from tours4fun. Honestly, I didn't expect too much because too good price. Wow, we stopped by so many places and we stayed at Marriott Fremo..nt CA. The hotel is really clean and very modern style. Great beds and about 50 min. far from San Fran. Bus stop every two hours for bathroom and you cannot bring coffee cups in the bus…etc. But, you should realize asian style tour is different. Some strict rules, move fast and get on & out the bus many times. BUT, you can see so many things and totally worth for money. Oh, food, additional tour in San Fran and tips are excluded. I highly recommend to college students, anyone don't have a plan to drive during travel, anyone don't really have time to look in LA & San Fran area.Read full review
This 4-day tour was an amazing experience, combining the breathtaking beauty of Yosemite National Park with the excitement of Los Angeles and the scenic 17-Mile Drive.
