▼ Popular Instagram Spot – Arakura Sengen Park – Great Location for Viewing the Full Panorama of Mount Fuji (Approx. 1 hour)
(This itinerary is from October 1 to April 25, visiting Arakura Sengen Park instead of Mount Fuji's Fifth Station)
A newly popular destination, Arakura Sengen Park is listed as one of the "21 places every photographer must visit before they die." It offers an excellent vantage point for a full view of Mount Fuji. Climb the 397 steps near the main shrine, and you'll see the "Chūrei Tower," a five-story pagoda, perfectly framed against Mount Fuji. Here, you can capture the stunning combination of the "Five-Story Pagoda, Mount Fuji, and the street scenes below" in one shot. Photographers and tourists from all over the world come here to capture this breathtaking scene. The beauty of the landscape changes with the seasons—cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, red leaves in autumn, and snowy scenes in winter. Besides admiring Mount Fuji, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of the charming streets of Fujiyoshida city.
▼ Mount Fuji Fifth Station (Approx. 40 minutes)
(This itinerary is from April 26 to September 30, visiting Mount Fuji Fifth Station instead of Arakura Sengen Park)
Get closer to Mount Fuji at the Fifth Station!
Fifth Station (The Fifth Station of Mount Fuji is located halfway up the mountain, at an elevation of 2,305 meters. From this point, the views of Japan's highest peak are stunning from both close and distant perspectives. At this closest distance to the summit, you can feel the grandeur of Mount Fuji. On clear days, you can gaze down at the surrounding beautiful landscapes, including Lake Kawaguchi. When enveloped in mist, you can look down on the magnificent sea of clouds, creating an otherworldly scene.)

Seasonal Special Itinerary – Experience the Changing Seasons of Mount Fuji (Lunch can be taken here, lunch at your own expense)
▼ Oishi Park, Lake Kawaguchi (11/21-4/12, 5/27-10/25, Approx. 60 minutes)
In spring, this is one of the classic spots to capture the beautiful combination of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms.
In summer, the lavender in Oishi Park by Lake Kawaguchi blooms, transforming the park into a sea of purple, beautifully contrasting with the view of Mount Fuji. This is also the venue for the Lake Kawaguchi Lavender Festival. (Lavender blooms from late June to mid-July)
▼ Motosu Lake Fuji Shiba Sakura Festival (4/13-5/26, Approx. 60 minutes)
A well-known flower festival in the Greater Tokyo Area, the Shiba Sakura (moss phlox) Festival is held annually at the vast plain beneath Mount Fuji. The festival features vibrant and beautiful blooms of shiba sakura, creating a “rainbow on the ground” with 800,000 plants gradually blossoming from April to late May. The stunning combination of the colorful flowers, the blue sky, and the snowy summit of Mount Fuji creates a breathtaking view. There is also a food festival during this time.
Please note: The entrance fee for the Fuji Shiba Sakura Festival is not included.
▼ Kawaguchi Lake Maple Corridor (10/26-11/20, Approx. 60 minutes)
The sight of the snow-capped Mount Fuji framed by fiery red maple leaves is a must-see view, making this a rare, unmissable event each year. The area around Lake Kawaguchi is adorned with vibrant red maple trees, and the stunning golden autumn scenery is simply mesmerizing.

▼ Lake Yamanaka – Take a Swan-shaped Cruise or Enjoy a Hot Spring Experience at Lake Yamanaka (Approx. 70 minutes, cruise or hot spring fees are not included)
Lake Yamanaka is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, fed by natural rivers. From the lake, you can enjoy views of Mount Fuji with its long ridgelines stretching out on either side, offering a stunning and captivating scene. Swans, known as "hakucho" in Japan, migrate here every year from February to April to lay their eggs, despite the cold. Because visitors often feed them, the swans sometimes approach the shore to interact with guests, which is why Lake Yamanaka is also called "Swan Lake."
On June 22, 2013, as part of "Mount Fuji – Object of Worship and Source of Artistic Inspiration," the area was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Lake Yamanaka Swan Cruise "Hakucho Lake" (Swan Lake)
From December 1, 2024, passengers who take the cruise will receive a complimentary bag of swan/fish feed (subject to availability; if feed runs out, no refund will be issued).
The cruise takes about 25 minutes, offering a leisurely journey around the lake while enjoying beautiful views of Mount Fuji and the picturesque surroundings.
In line with the concept of "beautiful swans floating on Lake Yamanaka at the foot of Mount Fuji," the boat is designed to resemble a graceful swan. It has won multiple design awards and was created by renowned Japanese designer Reiichi Mitooka. The swan-shaped boat glides elegantly across the lake, with an interior crafted from oak wood to highlight its natural grain, creating a warm, relaxing atmosphere. To enhance the experience for children, the boat has special seating for them and includes binoculars and a wheel for a "captain" experience. The carefully designed details throughout the boat make it a unique and enjoyable experience.
While enjoying the stunning natural beauty on the boat, you can also have the rare opportunity to interact with wild swans (swan feed can be purchased for ¥100 per bag at the boarding area).
15:30 Return to Tokyo,The return time is for reference only. You may return earlier due to smooth itinerary, good road conditions, etc. on the day. (The drive takes about 1.5 hours to 2 hours)
