This long main boulevard is named after the ancient Berber name of Casablanca. Anfa Boulevard is located in the district of the same name in the oldest part of the city and runs through modern Casablanca as well. Along this boulevard you will find a treasure trove of restaurants, shops and hotels.
See the largest mosque in not only Morocco but in Africa and the third-largest in the world. The Hassan II Mosque also has the tallest minaret in the world at 60 stories high. The mosque’s walls are made from hand-crafted marble and it has a retractable roof. The mosque is large enough to host 25,000 worshipers inside and another 80,000 in its surrounding squares. Its interior can only be seen through a guided tour.
