Renowned Pulitzer Prize-winning author Ernest Hemingway lived in this charming 1851 tropical estate located on the island of Key West from 1931-39. Guests can see the elegant rooms, lush gardens, serene swimming pool and the author's famous writing desk as they meet the more than 40 felines that live there. Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum, which is a National Historic Landmark, has a book store and souvenir shop selling Hemingway's novels, biographies, poems and short stories among other items.
