The Montjuïc Cable Car runs from the city of Barcelona to the top of Montjuïc. It climbs 277 vertical feet along a 2460-foot run and gives passengers sweeping views of the whole city and the sea. There are three stops on the cable car. Parc de Montjuïc has museums and sites of the 1992 Olympic Games. Step off at the Mirador stop to visit a landscaped terrace and gardens. Or take it all the way to the top to explore Montjuïc Castle, a military fortress built in 1640.
