The highest peak in the Los Glaciares National Park, Mount Fitz Roy sits on the border of Argentina and Chile. Most hikers pass through the nearby town of El Chalten to reach the peak or follow the trails through the surrounding mountain range. It is considered one of the ultimate climbs do to its sheer granite walls that require many mountain climbers to make a slow, careful accent.
