The Boston aquarium's 200,000-gallon Giant Ocean Tank features more than 2,000 fish, sea turtles including a 550-pound green sea turtle named Myrtle, sharks and 3,000-plus corals as well as 67 windows and 52 viewing coves. New England Aquarium, which opened in 1969, attracts more than 1.3 million visitors annually.
