Nestled in the Maria Lucia Park, this Sevilla public square was built for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929 and designed with ornate Renaissance Revival-style structures. Built by Anibal Gonzalez, the plaza originally showcased the great technological and industrial exhibits of the exposition. Today, many of the grand mansions of the plaza are now museums, accessible with the daily Plaza de Espana tours.
