About Plaza del Obradoiro

Here you will find one of Spain's best preserved squares. Plaza del Obradoiro is Santiago de Compostela's pride and joy and the largest plaza in Galicia. The four sides of the square represent four innovative styles of architecture: Baroque, Gothic, Neoclassical and Renaissance. Plaza del Obradoiro is also the arrival point of thousands of pilgrims every day. Mile 0 of the Way of St. James, a major Christian pilgrimage route, is located in the center of the square.
