About Southernmost Point Monument

Located at the corner of South Street and Whitehead Street, this Key West marker notes the southernmost point in the continental United States that can be accessed by the general public. The Southernmost Point Monument is in the shape of a buoy that reads "90 Miles to Cuba" is one of the most popular tourist attractions on the island. The true southernmost point is actually on the U.S. military Truman Annex property.
